post birthday bash with satur

I won't forget this year. For I've gotten the best surprise in my entire life. Something that came from the heart. Thanks Kuya Joseph, Kuya Nap, Marvin, Kuya Chito and Hogan. I liked the costume too.

happy thanksgiving!

There are absolutely a lot of things to be thankful for this year.
First and foremost, we thank God for our Disney contracts.
We always find ourselves tired at the end of the day but we never
fail to constantly remember that we are able to survive life.
We would always embrace our ability to entertain people with our talents.
None of these would be possible if not for the almighty one.
Thanks for that...

True friends have sprouted along the way too. And I hope they know how thankful I am when they brighten up my day or when they give effort when they take the loneliness away. Being away from what's familiar to you is a risk. And it's amazing to feel that somebody treats you as their own brothers and sisters. I hope it would always stay the same way. But for all we know, we are in the world where nothing seems to be permanent. So, everyday is a new chance to show each other how much you take care of them.

This year, Josh helped me in getting my new laptop. I'm addicted with my SONY VAIO PCG-6S7P. Talking about being techie alright. What I like about it? It's handy, light, I chose the one with a big memory and graphics are by NVIDIA. Meaning? Good for games. Woohoow! Too bad though my CANON IXUS 950 got lost but I got a new camera from Hogan for my birthday. He comes up with the most breathtaking surprises. He got me a SONY one too. SONY Cybershot DSC-T200. It is the most compatible with my laptop. I hate to brag about it. Some of you may think it's just a material thing but it helps me get hold of the memories.... That's what I'm most thankful of.

And last but not the least....

I thank God mostly for making me understand the concept of time.

All of us are bound to an end. It comes in so many ways.... it may be thru finishing college where you find yourself waving goodbye to good friends, ending up a contract and finding yourself thinking of what's next, breaking up with somebody and choose not to remember at all or even death when everything is put to a halt. One thing I've proven true... you have to make the most of your time. Help people see the beauty of life. Don't get tired of doing so. Because thru it, you'll see yourself transforming into a better human being. Make the most out of what you have. Satisfaction is hard to find within us. But one way or another, if you'd pray hard for it... you'll realize everything is right in front of you and all you have to do is to embrace it. Take in everything you can and give everything you've got... At least, BE REMEMBERED!

latest st. augustine tvc

This was the latest St. Augustine tvc. I didn't get to see this anymore though back in the Philippines. It's nice to reminisce the moments with the people you get to work with. So to you guys out there, it's a must for you to give everything you've got in everything you do. Because you'll never know when the next chance is. Before you know it, the moment may just pass you by. Time is a cheater. I know you'll all agree. So, make the most of your time.

my 1sts.........

Sept. 24, 2007 - Halloween parade launching

It's my 1st time to be a part of the opening team, and boy! Am I so glad!Being an artist allows you to release stress by being able to portray a lot of personas. Being a villain was the least on my list but the experience was really spectacular. A lot of attitude is needed, and I get more tired being tensed and mad. Not really because of the choreography. Not to mention.... the black lights effect is really amazing!

Come and see it fellows!

After the wonderful and
breath taking opening,
we went to Discovery Bay,
also known as D-Bay,
to have a dinner celebration.
It was my 1st time
to try it out and I decided,
once a month of laying back is not bad.

Worth it for the money!

What: Film Viewing ("The Diary of A Mad Black Woman")
for the Bible Study
When: September 18 and 25, 2007
Where: Ella's house, Pa Mei Village, Tung Chung
Topic: Forgiveness

It was my 1st time to suggest an idea for the Bible Study and I'm so glad that all of us got to embrace the idea of forgivness. They loved the writer of the movie. How each character was used for the glory of God!

Yey! Praise God!

Work has been really hard for this past month because of the late night halloween rehearsals and continuous demands from co-workers and bosses. Nevertheless, I got these notes to keep me going... again, my 1st time to get appreciated personally.

"Great Job" Card - September 19, 2007

Dear Kyte,

Congratulations for your constant great performance as a greeter! I see a lot of positive feedbacks our our daily lead reports.

Stan

"I'm a fan of this cast member...." Card

Ashton - I really loved being able to dance with her. She was so graceful as a butterfly and so fun to be with in the parade. I am looking forward to working with her once again!

Thanks girl!!!! Work becomes light because of people like you!

what made my week

Kuya Nick's bday in Caribbean, Tung CHung rocked!
We all had a blast.

You wouldn't have a dull moment with this guy. He has such a happy aura. No wonder, even if at the age of 40, (and he's proud of it!) he could still make you look twice his direction.

Good times!!!!

Nina's bday...KTV night!

After playing volleyball at Seaview Crescent, we headed right away to Caribbean Coast.

Even if Nina was so sick to have this party, she still managed to have fun. Of course! Who w
ould resist Catv's singing prowess!!!! Hahahaha! That was so fun!

Volleyball games at Seaview Crescent This is our way to exhale here in Hong Kong during the weekends.
Why did this make my week? I was able to block Hogan!!!!

Yehey!!!! He's a huge Hawaiian spiker. He's really a warrior during the games but when he
asked me to block him, I was able to give it wholeheartedly. Ahahahahaha!!!! Yeah!!!!

Butterfly and Rainbow
I w
as able to get a feel of being one of the butterfly dancers and rainbow gals during the Mickey's Waterworks Parade. It was indeed a boost to my self esteem.

Summer Magic in Disney

Thanks for the cast member who got a shot of me
during the parade. It was so nice of you to enter my picture.
I hope I could thank you personally someday.

how we spend time here in hong kong

Work, work, work....
With our job, it's important that you have the talent, the dedication and the willingness to bring delight to families that spend their time here in Disneyland. Some of them maybe spending a once in a lifetime experience. So, even if it drains the hell out of us, nothing still beats a sweet smile given whole heartedly. We share a common inspiration... and that is the smile given back when we wink as we perform, to see them clapping and amazed, and the other cast members who spend their days off cheering and supporting us all the way.

Volleyball during the Weekends...
Lately, we were able to spend some time over at Seaview Crescent's in-door volleyball court. It's so nice to do things with the other cast members other than work. Not to mention, the hidden talents they have. I was able to reminisce my times as a Tigress when I was still with the UST HS Volleyball Team. But what's nice here is to get to play with the authentic Hawaiian spikers, and is stress-free due to the pictorials done in between.

Pictorials in the Park...
Of course, times in the park shouldn't be missed. One thing I love about my job is you get to take a walk in the park with friends after work. And you can enjoy all the attractions more than once. Disney's danish at Maxim's and ice cream crepes at the Adventureland are the mouth-watering treats you can't resist. It's nice to realize that you're able to submit to such craving. "Work hard to live it large!!!" Life is so sweet, isn't it? And, in the afternoon, the people are already tired to compete with us during fun shots so we get to have nice pictures.

Lan Kwai Fong Nights

Spending time with friends visiting from the Philippines......

Shopping...
This was taken while checking out some Disney products. Lean got me busted!

The other night, I caught Aubrey Miles indulging on Mongkok's goods. Because it really offers an attractive deal in terms of bags, shoes, digital gadgets and apparel.

Prince Edward, Central's H&M, Tung Chung's Citygate and Tsim Sha Tsui's Louis Vitton, G2000 and a lot more is a shopper's sanctuary...

A recap.......

Long live 2006!!!!

This year, so many events, blessings and lessons were experienced. I can't deny that I became a better person because of them. Far from what I expected, I thought I'd be a stuck up this year. Because I thought I'd be doing the same old usual things I do...but it was the total opposite. "Firsts" are least expected as you get old. But it's amazing, God still gives me these "firsts" and man!!!! Was I swept off my feet for each...

Allow me to reminisce on my blessings....

This was also the year I passed my CGFNS and IELTS exams last March and December respectively. I have to say these are the best gifts for this year....Here are some of my co-reviewees in The Commonwealth Institute.

This year also, I got to celebrate my birthday 5 times. Of course it won't be possible if my precious friends weren't there to celebrate with me. It has been a year since this barkada was formed. Ronald, Ryan, Emil, Mike, Jaq, CJ, Hannah, Ate Cef, Jamie, VEra, and sa lahat ng extensions....Thanks y'all!!! For my Whiplash family, my Salinggawi dudes and dudettes, for my co-teachers and poker classmates, and elementary and high school crew, thank you so much!!!! To my girls, the Palmolive chikas, after 3 years of friendship, you still don't fail to make me feel cared for.... Thanks for all the concern and advice..... and for the attendance... you know what I mean! Hehehe!!!

Not to mention, the gift I got for my birthday this year, I choreographed this commercial led by Ms. Maha Salvador for a feminine wash.... Ryan Yngayo, a new friend of mine and Princess Hernandez whom I thought wouldn't be that close to me, got a role each and I was happy to have him casted by my agency. It's always nice to make people realize their potentials.... In line with this, I'd like to give thanks to my agency, Fatfish Casting Agency and AMA St. Augustine School of Nursing for all the projects. For Videofilm Productions and Wishcraft, Inc., more power to you..... Pat, thanks for gracing me with your talent with the photos you shot of me. You are one hell of an artist! Whiplash Dance Company, my co-dancers and my friends... you always molded me to be strong and developed as a dancer and as a person. Thanks for the discipline and the talent. Just so you, my beloved reader would know, this group helped me through my Nursing course. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't be exposed to the biz!!!!! It's nice to know who are the real bitches and angels at the backstage. Harharhar!!!! Due to direct rehearsals we've been having with the Filipino artists, there really are moments when you learn something undeniable about them. But let me emphasize on Ms. Amy Austia's extravagant beauty. She really is amazing. Going back, I had a good time unleashing my talents as one of the performers in SHowgirls '06 in Music Museum, the PAPICA show
(which is a fund-raising project for kids to be sent to school) held in the Aliw Theater, "The Boy on a Bike", a musical play for the JG Summit held in Crowne Plaza reliving John Gokongwei's hard-earned success where I was lucky enough to work with The Company, Robert and ISAy Seña and Ms. Lea Salonga, Popstar kids show, Pinoy Pop Superstar Search, and SOP Sunday noon-time show.

I also would like to thank God for the knowledge you've given me. Because of this, I am able to share to my young students a part of me. I thank you my fellow co-teachers for being with me throught it all. It's nice to know that you're as goofy as I am when handling problems and when being screwed up. You are true professionals. You also contributed to me being strong. There are a lot of times we're stressed out but we see to it that we give our best for our students. And we see to it that the work is done right.... To each and everyone of us, may our goals be reached. For those that I may not see anymore because you are bound to go abroad or work somewhere else, you truly touched my life..... it is much appreciated, you should know that....

This year, I get to love myself as well by not depriving myself at all of the craziest things in the world such as
learning how to play POKER,
RockYou PhotoFX - Get Your Own

keeping up with this blog and taking as many pictures as I can. I indulged to Grey's Anatomy and Prison Break never minding eyebags the next morning. It really just completes me as a person..... having idle times now and then. Hahaha!!! Because of these, I get to relive my long lost friendships. I get in touch with my colleagues way back from primary years and I am able to give time for myself to enjoy.

In addition, I wanted to lift up to God, these friends of mine who got engaged this year, April Belarmino, M.D. and fiance Jeff, and Ria Zamora and fiance Denny... I wish my bestfriend Sarah and Jeff the best as well, as they enter into a new venture in life as husband and wife! Mwah! Mwah! Mwah!

I can't really find the perfect words for how grateful I am to this added year in my life.
